Art Student Scholarship

The Siskiyou Artists Association (SAA) supports local high school seniors and college art students with annual scholarships. Scholarship applications are accepted during the spring semester of each year.

Qualifications and Instructions

  1. Applicant must plan to enroll in the Fall of 2007 at an accredited college as an Art major.
  2. Applicant must have a minimum of a 2.3 grade point average
  3. Applicant must furnish at least one letter of recommendation from an art instructor.
  4. Applicant will be required to meet with the SAA Scholarship Committee at a designated time to display a portfolio of his or her art projects.
  5. Recipients of the scholarship will receive the money in the Fall of 2006 following proof of enrollment by the school registrar. The award will be presented at the reception for the SAA's Annual Art Show on Sunday, August 19, 2007.

Completed applications must be received no later than April 10, 2009. Send the completed application form, letter of recommendation, and a copy of your transcript to:
